Microsoft Windows NT 4 User Introduction

Course Aims
MS Windows NT 4.0 provides users with a powerful graphical desktop environment and entry level networking. It allows them to transfer information to others; to manage files and data; to manage printing; to share data and devices; and to run applications. On completion of the course readers will understand the terminology of Windows NT 4.0; be able to use a mouse, menus and scroll bars, make selections and activate processes; understand how to pass data between users and applications; and use Windows NT 4.0 tools and utilities to improve their own and workgroup productivity.
Assumed Knowledge
A basic understanding of PCs and a standard keyboard layout as gained from attendance on a "PC Introduction" course or from past experience. No experience of networking is required.
Course Audience
New or intending MS Windows NT 4.0 users who will be using Windows and network based applications. This is essential training for anyone who will be studying applications software product courses who do not have this level of experience.
