Answers to your Training Course Questions
Q: If I register today, how long will I have unlimited access to your online course library?
A: On full completion of registration, you will receive exactly 12 months unlimited access to our ever-increasing online course library.
Q: Are your training courses classroom based?
A: Our training courses are all online courses and are accessible exclusively by our members from any computer connected to the Internet. There is no need to go to a classroom and you do not need CD-ROMs or books. This means that our online courses are kept up to date and can be accessed at anytime and so you can train when you want, where you want and at your own pace.
Q: What happens when my 12 months membership expires?
A: When your 12 months membership is about to expire you will receive an email detailing the procedure for renewing your membership for a further 12 months. To ensure security we do not store any of our member's credit / debit card details and therefore you would be required to re-enter your credit / debit card details in order to renew your membership.
(We never automatically renew our training memberships.)
Q: How many online training courses are available to your members?
A: We currently have access to over 575 online courses, available to all our members 24 hours a day, 7 days a weeks. We regularly add new and update current courses.
Q: On becoming a member, what types of courses are available to me?
A: With over 575 courses, we offer everything from basic word processing to highly technical programming. To find out more about the online courses available to all of our members please visit our course library.
Q: Can I download the courses to my computer's hard drive?
A: During your membership period, you can view and download as many of our online training courses as you want at no extra cost. Once one of our online courses has been downloaded to your computer you have the option to study offline to save on Internet costs.
Q: Can I print your online courses?
A: If you have access to a printer then you are able to print out our online courses. The printable versions of our online courses are for your use only and can be beneficial in allowing you to study without having to read from your computer screen.
Q: As a member, do I receive the software required to go with the online training courses?
A: We can supply you the training material but we cannot supply you with the actual software. To view our online training courses all you need is Adobe Acrobat Reader (which can be downloaded free from here). If you want to complete the in-course exercises to practice what you are learning then you will need the software that you are learning about on your computer. For example if you want to complete our Microsoft Word online courses, you would need the Microsoft Word software installed on your computer to complete the exercises within the course.
Q: Can I access your online course library from work and home?
A: If you register for our online training courses you will be emailed a username and password. As long as you know your username and password then you can access our online training courses from any computer connected to the Internet. Should you forget your password, you can easily request that a new one is emailed to you via the ‘forgot password’ section of the website.
Q: How long will each course take?
A: There is no set time limit for any of the courses in our training library; you are welcome to take as much or as little time as you wish over anyone of our courses. We find that this no pressure approach is very beneficial to our members and they will learn new skills much better when they are not rushed.
